In compliance with applicable data protection regulations, Q17 informs users (hereinafter, the "User" or "Users", as applicable) that it holds the profiles on the Facebook, Instagram and Vimeo social networks under the name Q17, created with the main purpose of advertising the products and services offered by Q17.
The User has a profile on one of the aforementioned social networks and has decided to join the page created by Q17, showing interest in the information published on the relevant social network. By joining Q17's page, the User gives their consent for Q17 to process the personal data published on their profile.
The User can access the privacy policy of the social network itself at any time (links provided at the end of this policy), and can configure their profile to safeguard their privacy.
The User's data on the social network will only be processed by Q17 within the social network itself, and will never be processed by Q17 outside of it.
The User has the right to exercise their rights of access, rectification, erasure, portability and restriction with Q17 by writing to alfredo.cuevas@Q17.es, enclosing a document proving their identity.
However, the exercise of the above rights will be defined by the social network's own functionality and by Q17's ability to access the information on Users' profiles, and can only be exercised in relation to information that is under Q17's control. Likewise, Users may file a complaint regarding the protection of their personal data with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) if they believe Q17 has infringed the rights recognized under applicable data protection regulations. Q17 will carry out the following actions:
Access to the User's public profile information.
Sending personal, individual messages through the social network's own channels.
The User can always manage their connections, remove content that no longer interests them and restrict who they share their connections with, by accessing their privacy settings on the social network.
Once the User has joined Q17's page, they may post comments, links, images, photographs or any other type of media content supported by the social network. In all cases, the User must own the content, hold the relevant copyright and intellectual property rights, or have obtained the consent of any affected third parties. Any posts on the page — whether text, graphics, photographs, videos, etc. — that offend or are likely to offend morality, ethics, good taste or decency, and/or that infringe, violate or breach intellectual or industrial property rights, the right to one's own image, or the law, are expressly prohibited. In such cases, Q17 reserves the right to immediately remove the content and may request that the User be permanently blocked.
Q17 is not responsible for content that Users freely publish.
Users should bear in mind that their posts will be visible to other Users, and are therefore themselves primarily responsible for their own privacy.
Images that may be posted on the page will not be stored by Q17, but will remain on the social network.
Q17 will use the social network to advertise its products and services; in any case, should it decide to process contact data for direct marketing purposes, it will always do so in compliance with the legal requirements of data protection and information society regulations. Recommending Q17's page to other users so that they too can enjoy its promotions or stay informed about its activity will not be considered advertising.
